Mexican Italian Fusion Lasagna

Here is an interesting recipe that I found and thought I would share with everyone.

The roasted poblano peppers add a welcomed garden flavor, and the jalapenos bring in the spice!

  • 3 jalapeno peppers, roasted and sliced
  • 2 poblano peppers, roasted and sliced
  • 1 jar of your favorite pasta sauce
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups Mexican style cheese, shredded
  • 1 pound ground beef, cooked
  • 1 pound chorizo, cooked
  • Chili powder to taste
Cooking Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Lightly oil an 8x10 baking dish and prepare to layer.
  • Set one layer down of 4 lasagna noodles to cover.
  • Add ground beef and chorizo. Even spread.

Now that's different. It sure looks good. The only thing I'd change is to make my own sauce instead of pre-made.

Wow Paul. I didn't know anyone could make Lasagna look that good. Kudos for a great plate. Excellent job...:points1: (not sure how to work the points yet) But you deserve them. All the best...
