Hi Everyone,
Don't know about you, but I love beef stroganoff over egg noodles. Yesterday I made some Brisket / Burnt end stroganoff and then paired that with Alx's homemade egg noodles. Thanks to Alx for the recipe that he was so gracious to share with me...congrats on the OTBS nod as well!!
I started with the egg noodles. Here is the dough resting for a bit before I rolled it out.
I rolled it out and then threw it on a cutting board and sliced it into noodles.....
Next I assembles the ingredients...I used a low sodium broth, because the salt can always get to be to much at the end when things have reduced.
Start with the onions and 'shrooms
Add the Brisket and burnt ends...
Broth and spices...
Next add the mushroom soup, and let it simmer a while. Thicken it with a bit of flour and then the whole tub of sour cream. (I can't believe that I didn't take a picture of this!?!).
Plate it in a bowl with some noodles on the bottom
And drown those noodles in burnt end beef stroganoff...
Top with some Parmesan cheese.
This is really good stuff, and as a matter of fact, I'm having it for dinner tonight too...YUM! Thanks again to Alx for the noodle recipe...really easy and really good!
