Last night I smoked some Chicken Quarters on the MES.

They were Fantastic, the best ones ever... I have done a lot of chicken quarters but these were the best ever.. I love this MES 40" with the 1200 watt element.

We coated them in Olive Oil and then with my Special Rub. Then we smoked them about 2 hours until they reached 170ºF...

Here is the Qview:

Those look super, Paul. Did they get crispy in the MES or did you have to put them on the grill? Either way, I'd be happy with a couple of those! 2thu

The skin came out about like what you find on KFC Original.

And Who would take time to put them on the grill, they didn't last that long between me and my two BBQ Chowhound Pooches... #:T +^)

This is Trouble, a Bottomless Pit when food is concerned.
