A few weeks ago, I received a sourdough starter from Bassman. Never, I mean never, have any of the past attempts at making bread worked, and I consider myself to be somewhat knowledgeable in the kitchen, but I never succeeded. Until lately.
This is my second batch of bread. When it came time to separate the loaves into two, I took one and rolled it out flat, added some sugar in the raw, along with some raisins and cinnamon. Rolled it up and into the bread pan. The other, I just let it do it's final rise in a small tupperware bowl, then plopped it down onto a cookie sheet and both in the oven.
Turned out great.
