Howdy again folks! Hope all is going well in your neck of the woods and your friday was a good one! I guess empyrion has given us another update to the server. I was just curious if that update will hit the server today or at a later date? Thanks again for all you do on the server!
 
Doing the updates now. Sorry for the delay. I work every day and then real life takes over for awhile after that. Appreciate you letting me know though since I sometimes miss their updates.
 
Oh don't worry at all. I get doing this is just another side job for most people and real life comes first always (atleast it should for most haha). Thanks for the update look forward to getting back out there soon! Thanks for the reply and hope all is well!
 
Another update, must be busy with tweeking the release
 
I am wondering, does anyone else feel they tweeked food and fuel consumption a bit?
 
Does the server need an update? Do you think food and fuel are too high or low?

i need to get on more and get a feel for the changes.
 
They did 12.2 last night.

As for food and fuel its just a feeling, may have something to do with CV tweeks and armor mods effecting food consumption. It felt higher, but I could be wrong.
 
Oh, and enemy reinforcements are not that much of an issue as I have seen yet. But they could destroy your ship if you do not pay attention while looting a base.....which sucks.
 
Right now server settings are pretty soft. Can’t imagine if it was set mid to high level...
 
Just a heads up empyrion updated to 12.2, so none of us can log onto the server.

kick the server to high level, make everyone earn every kill :)
 
Lol, yeah it was to be a warmup for things to come. Sorry guys, been a bit chaotic here but I’ll try to get it updated before work this morning.
 
Well considering i've been on the server longer then anyone and been doing a ton of stuff.. Food for me isn't an issue and I don't notice much of a change other then growing food takes longer which is fine. Fuel consumption doesn't feel like a major difference then what it was. I myself haven't went out looking for trouble really i'm more of a builder then anything else so I can't say one way or another if the new changes are a pain or nothing to even worry about. The reality is the game is kinda boring unless you are on a hardcore PVP server. Taken over poi's is pretty easy and has been since the game was brought to the public. If you build ships well enough for specific reasons you shouldn't have issues blasting through defenses. The only thing I wish as far as the server is concerned is allowing resources to respond fresh once everyday. I find that almost all servers do this no matter how many players are active on a given server. That's why most people find specific planets that give as many resources the game has to offer so they aren't wasting time flying around to other planets looking for just a select few resources. I enjoy this server because I only play on servers that have cpu/volume turned off.. Their new inventory system is just trash imo and just a pain in the ass. imo this major update just wasn't that epic as they intended it to be.. it's just more of the same stuff just with more planets but essentially the exact same game. Even if PVP was what you were after seeing that there are so many planets now you would need to be on a very active hardcore pvp server for it to matter because unless you are constantly flying and warping around to each system and planets it would be very hard to find others unless it was populated by more people and even then you would have to be lucky to be in a pvp area to get what you are after.
